A Vision for You:
Blessings to you all in the name of Jesus Christ. I want to share with you the power of the love of Christ in my life today as the we move forward with the work of the Church of Justice. Many people ask me, “ How did you come up with the name Church of Justice?” I must confess; it was not because of any brilliant plan that I made. During the issues that arose from the George Floyd murder, I began to contemplate and ask the Lord what was really going on in this world today. This was a clear travesty to Mr. Floyd, his family, the community, and Black people, but there were still so many in America who had such indifference to circumstances of his death at the hands of the police. I asked,” Lord, today, in these times there is still so much evil and hate and racism and uncaring. Lord, what can we do?”
The Lord spoke to me in the Spirit that he is a god that loves justice. He put into my heart to start the Church of Justice. It was where he had me at this time of my life. It was so intense and clear. God wants a demonstration of faith through his church that he loves, wants, and will bring justice. I am reminded of Isaiah 61:8 that says,” “For I, the LORD, love justice; I hate robbery and wrongdoing. In my faithfulness I will reward my people and make an everlasting covenant with them” NIV. Also, the New Testament that says in Matthew 6:33 to, “Seek first his kingdom and his righteousness (Greek; means Justice)…
So that is our mission as we move forward. If we profess to love God and others, then we must do all we can to ensure the justice of God is present. They cannot be separated. As we worship, proclaim, fellowship, and work, we must also impact the world by demonstrating, support, advocate, speak up, and standup to help overcome the injustices that this world and society uses to oppress God’s people. Who are those people? For God so love the world…fair treatment of all people in a society, including respect for the rights of minorities and equitable distribution of resources among members of a community. That’s what social justice means. God loves us all that he gave his son for our eternal life and his justice allows us to have an abundant life.
Therefore , I welcome you on this journey as we travel on His path of righteousness, for his namesake, on behalf of the Church of Justice, Seattle. God Bless you!
